“This property was just what we needed for a large group of family members in town for a wedding. There was plenty of space to spread out, outside space for the kids to get out some energy and a great trail down to the lake for those wanting to get closer to the water. The foosball and ping pong tables were very popular with our younger family members. Access to places we needed around town was easy. The property is nicely updated and very comfortable for sleeping, eating, or just chilling. ……

“Our kids loved the pool, hot tub, and slide! Numerous little things that we wished for at other places were included here: clothes hanging rack, clothes baskets, flossing sticks, cotton swabs, extension cords, instructional videos, and too many different things, to name just a few. The kitchen was terrific, too! There was a coffee bar with many syrups, creamers, and S'mores stuff. We wish we could live here year-round!”

“The property was absolutely gorgeous and even prettier than the pictures listed. It rained two of our four days however, the view overlooking the lake was spectacular. “The house is beautiful. Very tasteful decor and open concept. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The back yard is large with so many mature oak trees and no close neighbors. We were 10 minutes from downtown Salado and shopping. We used HEB in Harker Heights, but Brookshire Brothers is closer. The hosts responded to messages immediately and were very helpful. It was a perfect stay. I’d love to do it again. ”
