“Came up with a 4 year old and a 16 year old, plus wife and I. Cabin was the perfect size! There was enough privacy for the 16 year old in the loft, yet still kept him in the group. The cabin was very clean, tidy and well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and that allowed us to stay focused on fun! Great location, with a beautiful view of the lake all day! Close to the Hayward Amusement Center for our 4 year old.The hosts were prompt and courteous during our stay when we needed anything.……

“Great space for guiding a yoga class on the main floor. Had a blanket of snow fall so we had a great time with our snowshoes and cross country skis. Prepared some delicious meals using the kitchen. My friends enjoyed the space.”

“Lake cabin and location on Round Lake was perfect. Mini family vacation and comfortably accommodated 7 adults. Had everything and more than we required. Liz is great at communication and ensures that you have all necessary information and quick to respond. We even hired a pontoon for a day and just loved exploring the lake. We all spent endless time in the water and chilling in the lake. Would love to book again. ”

“We had a wonderful stay in the Northwoods at the Cabernet Cabin! It's on a great spot on a quiet lake. The cabin is clean and cozy. The owners Kathleen and Steve are very friendly and welcoming. Lots to do and see in the area - it's an easy drive into Hayward for shopping and dining. A great escape from city life!”

“We loved this little cabin--it was one of the most comfortable places we've rented. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The property is a very quiet area. It was raining like crazy when we were there so we didn't take a lot of deck time, but the lakeside was beautiful. I would rent here again. ”
