“This is a very well done hotel. Great architecture. The rooms are very thoughtfully decorated. It has a higher end feel, especially for way up by the border. There are very busy train tracks behind the hotel, so try not to get a room back there. Thankfully the conductors don’t blow the horn at the intersection. ”

“Had a good stay here. The place was clean, affordable and easy to find. There is no elevator, just fyi. Free breakfast was appreciated but it had limited choices. That's not a complaint, just pointing it out. It was busy when I stayed here, parking spots around the entrance were occupied in the evening, but there was still plenty of parking behind the building.”

“Loved this little apartment! It is just as described. Great location for our visit to Voyageur National Park. It is also within walking distance of a couple coffee places and shopping, which was convenient. We liked it so much we added an extra day to our stay! Host response was quick when needing to communicate. Note, it is on the second floor and there is no elevator so you must be able to use stairs. ”

“We stayed one night and realized that the air conditioner was frozen up with ice. I sent a text to the manager about it and he responded within a couple minutes. He came right over to take care of it. Very prompt and polite. The only negative thing was we found a dirty sock in the bathroom under the floorboard radiator that was not ours. It’s not really that big of a deal but seemed kind of gross at the time. We just threw it in the trash. Over all, the room was older but clean. The management……
