“This is a great spot for exploring Gettysburg. It is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also a very short drive to the battlefield. It was very cool staying in a building that was original to the Civil War. You are basically staying in the attic because it is up two flights of stairs. We didn’t mind this at all but just a heads up if you struggle with steps. My only complaint is the bedroom with one bed can get very warm if you shut the door. The host does provide a……

“We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apt, just a couple streets from the Square, where all the actions is, including shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, and museums. Grocery store across the street. The apt was spotless, beautifully decorated with historical items, lots of movies, Civil War books. It was nice to have a private porch to sit out on, sipping a nice cup of coffee, and reading a good book. Although there was a picnic table and a couple of benches for sitting on, you may want to bring……

“I enjoyed my stay. It’s in a beautiful location. I am a 60 year old woman. I was staying by myself and I felt completely safe. I was able to visit friends in northern Maryland, a short drive away, as well as spend a day in Gettysburg. Perfect weekend homebase.”

“Everything was clean and bright—a perfect place for two. The pictures on the listing give an excellent feel for the "340 Loft." There are a good number of amenities for a small loft for two. My wife and I would stay here again.”
