We hiked along the Poudre river and drove up to Montgomery Pass trail and found snow hip deep. What an experience for all of us. Thank you for sharing this cabin, truly a slice of heaven. ”

“The cabin is extremely well laid out. The space feels much larger than the square footage. We cooked every meal in the house (literally didn't leave for 3 days) and the kitchen and dining spaces were perfect for all 5 of us. This is a great place to just hole up and hang out, or use as a headquarters for some adventures around Red Feather. Take the 4 wheel drive/AWD suggestion seriously if you are coming any time other than full summer. The weather is much different up there and the roads……

“Located about 30 minutes from Estes Park and RMNP, this secluded cabin is an ideal refuge from the crowds after a busy day of exploring. We visited in September, and while it may not be necessary to traverse the road to the cabin in a four wheel drive vehicle, having 4WD will instill confidence. The covered outdoor porch is a nice place to relax in the evening. Some type of ventilation in the kitchen would be helpful while cooking. The smoke alarms are sensitive. An outdoor grill would be a……

“If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Also lots of stars were visible. We spent thanksgiving there and the kitchen had everything to cook the complete meal. We enjoyed the many board games too. All the beds very comfy too! Highly recommend! ”
