“This is truly a vintage cottage with a private waterfront setting.The cottage is very comfortable. I was there with my two goldens, plenty of room for them to swim and run. This would be a great spot for a family with young children. My only disappointment: I was expecting a kayak as pictured in the listing.”

“We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, reading, hiking, listening to the loons, playing games and watching movies on the one rainy day we had. We especially appreciate that we were able to bring our dog who also had a great time! ”

“Amazingly beautiful spot and fantastic hosts! Super clean and thoughtfully equipped with all the boats and gear. The porch is serene and has a picnic table and a cozy futton. A note that for folks with mobility issues, the small bathroom space may not be ideal.”

“Was a perfect escape for our family. Sadly, the water was very low in the lake, but the owners had zero control over this. “Perfect location for our family trip! Quiet setting on the water but not too far from bigger cities. We really loved it and having two smaller cabins on the property for other family members was a plus!! Would definitely stay again!! ”

“This property is beautiful - beautiful sunsets and changing lake views. We enjoyed walking around the roads. Cottage had everything we needed. Good, close grocery locations. Discovered “A Small Town Bakery” with gluten-free options in nearby Wayne. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets for our stay, as well as games, movies and children’s toys. Loved the rinnai for those cold mornings. Washer/dryer on premises. Only suggestion - microwave was old and hard to figure out and should probably be……

“Great little lake cabin. Had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, quite. Beautiful area and views. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again.”

“We had a delightful family retreat at the cottage. With my children aged 6 and 9, the sandy waterfront was a true highlight for them! We spent most of our days enjoying the beach, swimming, and canoeing in the serene cove. The owners were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which added to our pleasant experience. “Cottage was quaint but with everything one would need for a fun and relaxing week…watercraft, grill, dock for fishing or sitting, comfortable beds, and an air conditioner for the humid days and nights. A loon pair and chick, bald eagle, osprey, heron, and multiple hummingbirds were a treat! Will look to be back next summer!!”
