“If you are considering this cabin, do not hesitate to book it. It is absolutely beautiful, perfect spot on the lake and still close to many local venues. We enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend and cannot wait to go back. Denise was the most gracious host and made us feel at home. We were able to fish off the dock which is just steps from the front porch. Beautiful sunsets and listening for the loons was a favorite. Wish we could give more than 5 stars! ”

“My wife and I make a trip up to Maine every fall and I can state this property was one of the nicest we've ever stayed at. First the view: The cottage has an amazing view of the lake, sitting at the kitchen table there is a huge window and it feels like you are right on the water. The road that goes down to the cottage goes over a hill that has an absolutely stunning view of the entire lake and the mountains in the distance. The privacy at the cottage was great. The road the cottage was off……

“Hosts Jane and Peter are lovely people and keep their home and property very well maintained. We especially enjoyed amazing sunsets at the lake house and time in the screened in porch. We loved the Mountain Views at Blue Mountain State Park- Center Hill Trail and an overlook along the road nearby. Would highly recommend staying here. ”

“This property is beautiful - beautiful sunsets and changing lake views. We enjoyed walking around the roads. Cottage had everything we needed. Good, close grocery locations. Discovered “A Small Town Bakery” with gluten-free options in nearby Wayne. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets for our stay, as well as games, movies and children’s toys. Loved the rinnai for those cold mornings. Washer/dryer on premises. Only suggestion - microwave was old and hard to figure out and should probably be……

Alison and Todd were warm and welcoming from the moment I pulled into the driveway; they even left an assortment of local pastries to enjoy!
