“Firstly, Greg was excellent at responding to any inquiries we had prior to our arrival. Wasn’t surprising because he was an excellent host when we arrived! This cute B&B must be on your travel itinerary! Not only was the town absolutely charming but this property was clean, convenient, and beautiful! “Excellent location for a short stay. We stayed in the maxwells which were very comfortable with all the right facilities. My only suggestion would be to provide split bins for waste and recycling (landfill / plastic and tins) along with a tub for compostable waste. ”

“Balnearn House is a lovely B&B in a small village. The rooms are comfortable and there was a nice garden area. There were a couple of nice restaurants & pubs within walking distance. The owners are very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.”

“We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation.
