“We had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, clean and so close to town! The staff was so accommodating and lovely. The rooms were so beautifully decorated and the bath tub we had was to die for. The breakfast so was delicious and I loved that they gave each guest who wanted coffee their own French press. Pitlochry was a beautiful little town with lots of shops and restaurants, we ate at the old mill and it was delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel. Our best hotel in Scotland!”
“Fantastic B&B to visit in a lovely location. Hosts could not have been more helpful and nice. Beautiful rooms and the food was exceptional. A hidden gem in the Perth & Kinross area and worthy of a visit. ”
“What a lovely hotel! Staff very friendly and professional, meals were amazing!
Cleanliness of high standard. Gardens so well kept. We are so glad we found this hotel and certainly will be back! ”
“Once over the threshold, it is both welcoming & engaging.
There is a real “ personal “ touch & the owners are so “ hands on”& this care filters down through all their Staff.
Alas, the weather was not in our favour, but the sun always shines inside the “ Inn on the Tay”!
will definitely revisit & highly recommend.
Thanks for a lovely experience!
Mark & Kirsten.”
“This is such a special place, the owner is the most amazing person and the staff are all wonderful. We felt very at home and extremely taken care of. I highly recommend staying here, it’s not only a place to stay but a beautiful experience. ”
“I really enjoyed my stay at Lovat House - the room and bathroom was very spacious, the bed SO comfortable and the host, Joe, was a delight!!! It’s easy to find and in a great location and I had no trouble parking. If I return to Crieff, I will be going back and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Crieff.”
“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”
“The hotel is unique and positioned on the main road so access is easy. The staff were attentive to the guests, friendly and very obliging. There are no parking facilities at the hotel but there is a multi story car park close by. The hotel is in need of refurbishment, in particular the windows in order to suppress road noise. This is a friendly hotel, ideally situated for the center of town and surrounding places of interest. It does need to be refreshed. ”

“Basic pub/hotel with comfortable bed, great shower and basic self service breakfast, dinner in the bar was fine and reasonably priced. Plenty of on street parking and near two pay and display car park. Good value for money ”
