“My friends and I rented this property for a long girls weekend to attend an event in the area. We liked the historical aspect of the property and Gary was an excellent host. His banana bread was amazing! We would definitely stay again. ”

“The Factory is interesting. It is really more like an Airbnb right next to a hotel . So all the amenities of a hotel and the independence of an Airbnb . Alex and Meghan AMAZING!! They made me feel so welcome . Beacon is really sweet and make a reservation at Moreish for high tea . Weekends are the way go in Beacon . ”

“This is a lovely small hotel with nicely decorated rooms. It was very quiet; we rarely saw other guests or staff, which made it feel nicely private. Breakfast, while simple, was perfectly adequate and actually available all day. The only thing I didn't like is that the bed is really high; I'm very short and could have used a small step stool to climb in with ! But it was very comfortable and we slept well. This was a nostalgic trip for us, as we used to own one of the houses next door (40 years……

“Friendly, clean, spacious, and perfectly located for our weekend plans. However, one of the two elevators was out of service the whole time we were there, and that made the wait around checkout time ridiculous. We were able to get parking in the garage every time we needed it, but we took the last spot a couple times so having a back up plan might not be a bad idea! ”

“Vassar visitors: stay here! Le Chambord is comfortable and well-maintained. It is a historic property that has clearly been well kept by the Curry sisters! The bedroom was HUGE - furnished beautifully with a desk, dresser, couch, chair, mini-fridge, closet, and a king sized bed. The bathroom was fabulously renovated with a new shower, floor tiles, and countertop. The parlor has a beautiful chess board and Scrabble set - we sat and played in the morning. “The Hotel is well kept and furnished with antiques. The bed was super comfortable. Walking distance to dining and shopping. Would definitely recommend and come back to stay again.”
