“We had an amazing stay! The house was clean and bed was comfortable. House had all amenities and Pier fishing was fun l.we caught some trout and a giant redfish (or something) that pulled the line. We def want to go back. ”

“We had a blast at Magnolia beach! Lots of fishing at chocolate bayou, magnolia beach fishing marina, and the port lavaca pier! Even whent swimming at the port lavaca community pool! Tonjas house is amazing, and neighbor Judy is such a doll! It was a great place to stay and a wonderful home base while we were down there having fun! Will definitely book this house again in the future!”

“Just love this spot. The water was right outside the screened porch. Got to fish whenever we wanted. The marina is about 12 minutes away: bair and apparently a great restaurant. Didn't get to try the restaurant. The people around were so friendly. The dolphins put on a show on two different days. The house had everything you could just about need. The screened in porch was everything! We got to hang out at night with no bug issues. Many mentioned mosquitos in the visitor book, but luckily for us……

“Overall, property is very nice. Elevated lighted fishing deck with seating for several (some facing water and more further back), The deck is on a canal with bay access for fish & a shrimp boat. On 1 side of canal there are 8 houses, several vacant lots & some type of facility on 1 end, with another building on the other end. Other side has marsh with bay beyond This house is almost centered along canal length. It is easy to cact across canal.All seven of us (5 adults & 2 kids) did try our luck……

“This was a nice quiet area next to the water and was a very nice area to spend the weekend. My wife and I spent our 35th anniversary here and it was very nice and relaxing. I would recommend this place if you’re looking to relax for the weekend. Lots of birds flying around. Loved seeing the wildlife and the water. The house was very clean and well stocked with supplies. ”

“The place was clean and had that fish camp feel.The place was as described.Becky was easy to communicate with and kept in touch.We fished out back and caught lots of hard heads of course. We also caught some rat reds and sheephead, all undersized. Had one very hard hit on live croaker that broke the line. I would absolutely stay here again.”
