“Very cosy and warm, steep steps up to room and parking a few minutes walk away. A wonderful view to wake up to overlooking the river Medway. No breakfast inc and it’s not clear reading the other reviews, I think it’s overpriced without breakfast. We enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. If you are a light sleeper noisy traffic in the background also. The host was friendly. ”

“We had a lake view room and it was surprisingly quiet as near to busy A2. View to lake was nice. there were extensive woods near the property to walk our dog. Bed comfortable. Convenient for Rochester and Grain or en route to other places in Kent,”

“De lokatie is erg mooi met dorpswinkel op loopafstand. De kamer was schoon en netjes maar tijdens douchen bleek de douchekop erg te lekken. Diner werd aanvankelijk lauw opgediend maar dat werd op ons verzoek snel gecorrigeerd. Al met al hebben we er fijn overnacht.”

“We had a great stay at the hotel, the room was comfortable, good range of tea and coffees. There was no running water when we checked in (and disappointing that we weren't told this at the check.in desk) but it was resolved within the hour. No robe and towel for the spa in the room so we had to dash back and forth there. The spa should close at 8pm on Saturdays but we were asked to leave at 7.40. This was made up for by being able to use the spa after check out the following day. The……

“10 ⭐️ property - excellent room, comfy beds, easy check in and check out, next to practically the best restaurants in London (Italian, Thai, bars & pub food etc.) and at least 8 convenience stores within 1 minute walk. A cell phone store across the street so we could buy adaptors and cords. Plus bus stops and train station all within blocks of the hotel. We bought beer and ice and they provided a container we could use! Kindness and hospitality galore. We stayed 3 days and would definitely stay……
