“Pretty bummed that we did not get any response from the host when requesting the access to the place on the day of check in. They eventually responded after multiple emails on day 2. We had to find accommodations to cover the first night and there was no offer for compensation. The internet wasn't working and the water was shut off on the 3rd day. My employees live out of their suitcases and count on lodging to be a seamless process. This was not that. Would not recommend for these reasons.”

“Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to Cottage Grove and Eugene for anything you need. Very private. We enjoyed the daily visits of wild turkeys, deer and ptarmigan. The house was very clean, and attractive, if a bit lacking in things that might make it a bit more homey, like pictures. But that's a small thing overall when you can sit on the deck and see beautiful scenery.”

“The house is very clean and updated. The location is rural (no cell recepiton so I'd recommend you download the instructions on getting inside and the maps before you go). It is on the river but no access although we enjoyed the peaceful back deck. It would have been nice to have more than 2 chairs on the back deck. The owner was very responsive and has a nice welcome book with ideas of things to do and we would recommend this place if you stay in this area. ”

“Our track team decided to stay at a VRBO instead of a hotel. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. This place is absolutely, stunningly gorgeous. If you love nature, wonderous and mountainous landscapes nestled on a lake. This is the spot to be. It's location takes you away from everything, yet you can reach what you need in 20 minutes by car. I can't really say enough about this place, and it's hosts. Wonderful people, very accomodating, and never intrusive or……

“We planned a trip to Cottage Grove to do some cycling with friends. We did a total of 3 rides, one starting in Cottage Grove on a route to see the covered bridges. It was awesome.The home is situated across a road from Cottage Grove Lake. The front porch with gas fireplace was located facing the lake, which made for a beautiful and peaceful view of the lake, especially in the morning as the fog receded from the lake.The sauna was nice.
