“When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees. “We really enjoyed our stay and Colin was an excellent host. He was extremely responsive, and the property was in great shape and as advertised. In addition, we really appreciated the fact that the unit was fully stocked with utensils, dish soap, and other small items that can get overlooked When traveling. He even left us a bottle of wine on the counter. The location was nice and about 50 feet from the water. Just know there is a busy marina next-door that has quite a bit of activity going on……

Recognizing that it is a lake shore property, you enter the property from the back which has been a storage area for the property. “We came to MT from OK for the UTBS Music Festival. I was a little concerned staying an hour from the venue, but the drive was SO worth it. The property was clean and I feel the owners went above and beyond with things like nice, fluffy towels and they actually had good mattresses on the beds. My partner and I slept like babies the three nights we stayed there. Waking up and having our morning coffee by the lake was just the perfect touch to an amazing stay.
