“To no fault of the property owner, the cleaners had not cleaned or changed the sheets before our arrival. We had to call Evolve Travel, whi had to track down the owner. The owner was unable to get a hold of the cleaners, but was gracious enough to give us the code to the shed where clean sheets were kept. The floors were filthy!!! The top of the toilet tank was off because you had to jiggle the parts for it to flush correctly. The owner had obviosly bought all new sheets, towels,kitchen utensils……

“Spacious home with good location. It’s a lot bigger on the inside than it looks! Our family had a wonderful time there. ”

“Went up north for the holiday weekend to go tubing down the Au Sable River. Cabin was very clean and suited our needs. The land is well maintained. Close to town so you can get some dinner and ice cream. Host responded well to texts and phone calls, but did not get the VRBO messages initially sent so I would stick with communication via the cell phone.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful rustic cabin. Everything was spotless, and the cozy décor made us feel right at home. The host was incredibly communicative and friendly, making check‑in and planning seamless. Our only regret is that we could only stay one night! We’re already planning to come back during mushroom season and in the summer for a canoe adventure. This cabin offered the perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm, and the host’s hospitality made it even more special.……

“We had a fantastic time, with so much to do outdoors, our 5 boys had no problem falling asleep completely exhausted at the end of the day. It’s a mix between “Glamping” and “camping” the cabin was super cute. Has a full fridge and microwave, with an outdoor grill. There’s no toilets or running water in the cabin, but the main lodge has showers and toilets and a full kitchen to use, and the cabin is like 50 feet from it. We had a blast and the kids have asked to come back here every year from now……

“Susan is an amazing host. The cottage was absolutely perfect for us and our little dogs. Bed was very comfortable, and the party store right across the street is a game changer which also has really good food. 10 minutes from East Tawas was another great perk for food and a cool little downtown feel. There is so much to do but we chose to do a lot of relaxing and this was a great spot at a reasonable cost. We will definitely be back!!!”

“You might want to do more research before you book here. FYI this cabin does not have a bathroom. It is situated on an old Boy Scout Camp, and the bathroom facility is in the main lodge of the camp. There is a cabin within just a couple feet of this one, so there isn’t any privacy. The manager was kind, and since our stay did not match the description of the property, he did work with us to make it right.”
