“We stayed here for the PA Bacon Fest. Location was awesome as it is in the square with the bacon festival. We were able to easily park in one of the town garages and walk out the door into the festival each day. There are great restaurants near by. Apartment was nice and clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Only complaint as others have noted is that the ceiling must be very thin as we could hear every footstep of the upstairs apartment. “We stayed in the two bedroom one bath apartment above the garage and it was very cute and well updated. My only complaint is that the parking is very limited and the exterior of the property needs some maintenance. “Property was not kept up well. As soon as we arrived there were many flies and bugs in the entry way. Main doors left open. Confused on the many keys provided to access our room. “As two people of color , me and my girlfriend enjoyed this place so much. It was a small and quiet town next to a creek, the locals were super friendly, our host even more friendly, and the property is about 8 acres in total so it’s great for exploring or bringing a pet. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back here soon! Ceilings are a little low though, probably not ideal for anyone 6”3 and taller.”

“The unit & space were great. The neighborhood is not great but there is a Dunkin and liquor store within a few blocks. Garage parking in the building is nice. We had events in Somerset which is only 8-9 minutes away. If you're sensitive to light, bring a sleep mask. Bedrooms have large windows that allow a lot of light all night. Overall, I'd stay here again.”

“The apartment was a little bigger than a deluxe hotel suite which was great for our use. A good size living room and good sized bedroom connected by the kitchenette. Shower is a little snug if you’re larger. Nice balcony with a couch to sit out and enjoy the outside. Location is excellent- walk to all the restaurants in Motown plus easy walk to train in NY. Highly recommended if you intend to eat dinners out. Hosts were nice and responsive.”

Keep in mind there is no yard, so if you bring pets plan on going to Hopatcong State Park (three minute drive) to walk them. Also, it’s on a hill and the dock and lake are only accessible by many steep steps. ”
