“As advertised - the house is right on the lake. The home is well maintained and cared for. There’s four in our family. The 1-year-old excitedly said “flowers, flowers, flowerrrrrs” upon seeing the photo of sunflowers in her room every time she was being put down. The 4-year-old made good use out of the Disney Princess themed “hidden objects” book in her room and went ham on her first summer of “swimming alone” down by the dock ( splashing in waist high water with a life jacket on). “Nice older building, one thing to keep in mind there isn't any internet, phone service or TV. For us it was okay we utilize the blue ray for my grandson. For our needs the worked out fine since most of everything we had to do was in Newport for our daughters wedding. Pastor Ted is a very nice accommodating man.”

“Fun place to stay and comfortable. The listing needs to be more specific about beds and placement. It was not quite accurate. It says there are 2 queen beds plus 1 loft bed in the main house, which I was planning on, but there is only 1 queen bed and the loft bed. Otherwise, it was a nice place and I would probably go back again. Loon Lake is a very nice lake!”

“We had a great stay. We attended with our daughter and 2 young grand sons. They loved the cabin! They were excited about the loft, the water fun: fishing and kayaking and exploring the yard and surroundings. The solitude, deer, birds, eagle and hawks were pretty amazing. They were pretty disappointed we were unable to have a fire because of the local burn ban. Hard to forego smores in the outdoors.
