Lovely, spacious house, nicely appointed, well equipped kitchen (including an espresso/cappucino machine) and an extremely thoughtful owner (he knew we would be arriving very late on a very hot day where transporting perishables would not be possible, so he stocked some basics like milk and eggs for us so we could have breakfast the first day). “We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there. The bathroom was again modern in an old worldly setting, with plenty of hot water……
