“We enjoyed the property so much. The house is beautiful and very clean. We loved the kitchen. It was fully stocked with everything (including spices). There is much room for relaxing. It was great to sit in front of the windows, enjoy the view of the lake and mountains, and read a book. We were in close proximity to Ricketts Glen and was able to enjoy a couple of hikes enjoying all the beautiful waterfalls. We had lots of laughs and fun and relaxation.”

“This house is roomy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the area. There were six of us. Location is good for visiting World's End State Park and local hiking. We chose not to purchase a temporary membership in Eagles Mere Association. (For our weekend stay, the Association quoted us a $70 fee in order to use facilities. Since we were attending a family reunion in the area we didn't feel we would have time to use the facilities enough to make it worthwhile.) The house had games,……

“We had an amazing stay at Thorne Hill! George was so accommodating and accessible. The property is amazing and the home has such charm and character. “We stayed at Laceyville to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. We had a great time and the house handled all 10 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 dogs without feeling too squishy. “We stayed here a week in late August to celebrate some family time before the kids went back to school. Everything was just perfect. Even when the weather wasn’t cooperating we found plenty to do around the house and in Sweet Valley. When the weather cooperated, we were able to hike and swim and fish in many of the surrounding lakes and parks. Highly recommend. ”

“Great clean cabin in the woods. We are very familiar with the area we had a cabin 20 minutes away from this one for many years but sold a few years back. This cabin is very peaceful.
