“My friends and I will usually rent a cabin at nice a year or so, mostly staying in the Poconos or Catskills. We found this location on VRBO and loved it. The treehouse was a cool addition, made for some good pictures. The backyard was a good size and had a nice-sized fire pit and plenty of wood. The rooms were a good size, we all slept comfortably, and everything was very clean. The owner of the location was very easy to converse with and communicated well without being overbearing. “Cute little cabin in the woods. Very comfortable for the two of us. It had everything we needed for our stay, and anything else we may have needed was not far away in town. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there, but we did get to spend at least one night out by the camp fire. Definitely a good place for a getaway for a couple.”

“A little slice of heaven, next door to the Promised Land. We were in the area to visit Pa. State Parks and stayed here two nights. My wife found Rex Hotel online and she really relies on the reviews of past guests. With this receiving so many positive ratings we went for it. The no contact check-in and out was new for us, but no issues arose at all. In fact, everything went so smoothly it would be nice if others used this method. “Great spot with plenty of space for our group to hang out and relax—especially appreciated the cozy basement and the hot tub. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable for everyone. Only downside was that we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the air conditioning, which made things a bit warm at times. Otherwise, a solid stay!”

“We had the most wonderful time just writing in front of the lake cozied up with a blanket, while our dog ran and played in the yard. At night, the kitchen is the perfect kitchen to cook together and share a bottle of wine, with the music and fireplace going. 10/10 will def comeback!”

“We stayed for Labor Day weekend as a family of four. We found the home to be excellent location, quiet, and serene. There is a view of the lake from the front porch. It is a bit rustic, but that is what we were looking for. ”

“We like to play cards and other games and we had a great time hanging out in the game room. I beat up my brother at the foosball table and we relaxed in the hot tub. The lake is a little further from the house than we thought, but it was a nice walk down to check it out. Tony the owner and property manger was super friendly and very laid back with everything. ”
