“Boat for the Rhine river cruise and ferry ride to other side of the river conveniently located in front of the hotel. Plenty restaurants nearby. 20 minutes walk to Rheinfels castle.”
“Excellent location slap bang in the centre. Excellent breakfast with lots of hot and cold choices.
Room was small but comfortable bed. Well kitted our room but could have done with some coat hooks.
Main issue was that room was not cleaned every day and even had to ask for toilet paper when it ran out.
Attention to detail would have helped, such as leaving the outside light on so i could get my key in the lock.
Staff polite but not welcoming. As a solo traveller I would have welcomed a little……

“Wij waren in alle opzichten erg tevreden over Gasthaus Stahl. De ontvangst was hartelijk, de inrichting van het hotel was hel bijzonder: het leek wel een interessant museum. Onze kamer was niet te groot, maar wel gezellig en compleet qua faciliteiten. Het ontbijt ten slotte was zo overvloedig als wij het zelden hebben meegemaakt. Top!”
“This little apartment was a great jumping off point for our weekend in the Mosel Valley. We were able to park in front of the hotel at night for free with the blue parking ring. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Soap in the shower, extra bathmats for the bathroom floor (there is no door on the shower so water splashes around), in addition to a small vacuum (the clean freak in me was thrilled) and a tablet with information about the hotel and area. My only hesitancy is that……

“Very cute boutique hotel if you want to stay at a quiet area that's a train ride away from Konstanz. The rooms are very nice and we got the room with the balcony. There are very steep and narrow stairs to go to the room so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues and a lot of luggage. Staff is very friendly and check in was a breeze. Parking is free but a little far from the hotel itself, but still walkable.”
“Schönes, modernes Haus mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Gute Küche. Vielfältiges Frühstück. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Betten hatten gute Matratzen mit weichem Topper, so dass man sehr gut schlafen konnte. Ruhige Lage am Ortsrand. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Auch ein Fahrradraum mit Lademöglichkeit ist vorhanden. War ein guter Ausgangspunkt für unsere Wanderungen und Radtouren. Werde dort gerne wieder einen Urlaub verbringen. ”
“The room was cleaned quickly and efficiently. The personnel there is friendly and helpful. The church bell could be a problem, if you are a light sleeper, because they would ring out quite often, (although I had no problem, some of my friends had some problems). Overall, I really enjoyed our stay.”
