“It’s a good location to do everything Northern east coast from Mackinac Island to Tawas and points inland. The cabin is spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but you don’t want to spend a lot of time in there anyway. Communication with the host was/is excellent and timely. The screen on the door needed repair when we arrived, but I contacted the host to inform them that it was like that when we arrived, so all was good. We enjoyed the beach, Oscoda, Tawas, and……

“This home is incredible and immaculate. When we arrived, we were shocked to see it was fully stocked with bottled waters, a mini snack tower, indoor and outdoor games, kayaks and anything else you can think of for the beach. The kitchen was also fully stocked with coffee supplies, pots and pans, glassware, dishware as well as spices other cooking supplies. The views were amazing and so was the beach. We will definitely be coming back. ”

“Marina and Sergey’s beach-front cabin is a beauty. The location is serene - far enough away from town for stillness and relaxation, yet close enough to amenities and activities. The cabin is newly built, open and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,……

The location was ideal - only 3-5 minute drive from downtown Alpena’s attractions and 3 minutes from the beach. The host was responsive and wonderful to work with. The check in and out process was seamless. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Alpena! ”

“We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this VRBO! The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location right on Lake Huron was stunning — gorgeous views and the perfect spot to unwind. The only thing to note (especially for those with little kids) is that there’s a train that runs around 8 PM and 1 AM. It didn’t bother us much, but it’s worth mentioning. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we’d absolutely stay here again!”
