“Our stay was great and really enjoyed the house. We had so much space to have our own time and then still be able to come together for meals and hanging in the hot tub. We now want to come back in the winter and go to the sledding hill right in front of the house! ”

“We enjoyed a long weekend at the cabin for a girls trip. Was everything we needed and wanted and the perfect space for 3 adults. We spent a lot of time at the cabin and felt very comfortable, we also took the short walk to the river for a quick swim and we went out to explore Harper's Ferry and Shepherdstown which were both an easy drive away (maybe 10 -20 minutes from the cabin depending). Hosts were gracious and very quickly responsive when we had a question. Would highly recommend this cabin!”

“We were over from the UK, visiting our son who lives in Washington DC and we fancied a couple of quiet days out of the city. We were not disappointed.The cabin was delightful, well-appointed and catered for all our needs. The outhouse was well-maintained and the location beside the Potomac was idyllic.Shepherdstown was wonderful - some great places to eat, a strong feeling of history and the people were so friendly.Would we come again? Yes, we certainly would!”

“The overall property is need of repair and cleaning. The fence around the property was missing and damaged. Piles of concrete padding and material from renovations were piled and not covered. Steps to back of property leading to room lacked handrails. The new concrete steps were slick. The room was very well decorated. Parts of the walls were damaged. The two blinds in windows were broken.. The furnace ran constantly due to the other visitors kept raising the thermostat. The price of the stay……

“This property is perfectly situated if your goal is to be able to walk through Frederick and enjoy the parks, shopping, and restaurants”

“We had a fantastic stay at the property. The home is very charming and the pool is great. The location was also really nice. Close to wineries and hiking. Two points of feedback are that the dishes were visibly dirty upon arrival and all of the mattresses need to be replaced. Everyone in the group slept poorly and noted that the mattresses were uncomfortable. The master bedroom should likely also have a larger bed.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. We had one hiccup with the code for the front door not working, but the owners communicated immediately to get us in! We really liked the fenced in yard for our dog and the fire pit with fire wood so easily accessible. One thing we learned about Harper’s Ferry is the abundance of gnats!!! Bring your bug spray!! Loved this house! ”

When we arrived the property and house were very welcoming. The house was immaculate. The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed the back patio ”

“Perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the river view from the deck. The cottage was spacious and well appointed . We spent time learning about the history of Harpers Ferry and hiking in the region. Our adult son came in from Baltimore for one day visit.”
