“Nice place, great location. We were there with six people and it was comfortable. There is an oven not shown in the pictures. ”

“The home is located less than 10 minutes down the road from Jay Peak, making it ideal for ski vacations. There are plenty of bed for a big group, though (as the pictures show) they are somewhat oddly located. The floors in some parts of the unit are heated, which is delightful! My kids kept laying on the floor to get warm. The hosts were welcoming and helpful throughout the visit. One notable complaint is that the stairs leading down to the unit were pretty treacherous in the snow. My parents……

“On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:……

“Excellent property for a family getaway. It is right by the river which makes it unique. Big enough to accommodate a bigger family or multi-family vacation. The cottage is within walking distance to the local grocery store and several eateries. Also perfectly distanced to other VT spots like Stowe or Burlington...which was about 1 hour driving to each.. Kids loved a day at the Pumphouse Waterpark which was 15 mins away. Overall, perfect location, amenities and environment to take in Vermont's……

“Garrett was very responsive and accommodating to certain requests. The house was perfect for the 7 of us and in a very quiet area. The drive to Stowe was about 50 mins due to closure of 108 for the winter. The hot tub was a great touch after a long day at the mountain. The house was supplied with everything we needed. Would recommend for a ski weekend!”

“I stayed here for close to a month in january, had a great time. The area is beautiful, the cabin was warm and comfortable even in the middle of january once i had the woodstove going, very nice quiet area. You won't see a single person anywhere near the cabin, it was pretty secluded and extremely private, but still reasonably close to some small towns. The hike up to the cabin is awesome, you cross several small creeks through a beautiful forest, there were tracks everywhere from deer, rabbits,……

“We stayed here around Christmas time. We were skiing nearby. Location was great. With the snow the cabin was great for views. There were some issues with the internet/tv working for the first few days- but was addressed. There was a little issue with the shower downstairs leaking- we sent a video the first day but little could be done. Little issues ”
