“Excellent location right on the outskirts of Old Forge. Secluded, friendly neighborhood (seasonal houses/cabins) just minutes from the lake. Pass allows access to a secluded, small community beach or swimming area on the lake. Camp Pawnee is exquisitely decorated with custom furniture, paintings and other fun decor. WiFi was great, and sufficient for our needs, including streaming services. Property manager was attentive, easy to reach by email and very friendly. Back deck and yard were great,……

“The place was so tidy and clean, plenty of amenities, toiletries, dishes, cooking utensils, etc. that made staying soooo comfy! Thank you. The beds were comfortable, the decor was sweet and cheerful. We would have preferred to be in the water, but Brantingham books up soooo fast. So this was the best alternative and so close to our family’s place on the lake, right down the road. Peter is an excellent communicator and was helpful and attentive when needed. “Perfect house for us - 2 families. Beautiful house. Clean. Kids loved the game room - played cornhole and ping pong. We’ve been coming to Old Forge for years and years. 1st house that has provided bedding, towels, household items (paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc etc). Homeowner responded quickly to texts. Good time had by all!”

“I cant say enough about this place. WE all enjoyed every moment. The property manager is amazing. The house was just spectacular. The only thing that I could see being a issue is no AC. With my group we d have some that have some breathing issues in the heat. With that being said if it was hotter could potentially run in to a issue. But we had such a great time. ”

“We were only able to stay one night, but enjoyed our time immensely. From the jaunt down to the riverside, to the last embers in the firepit, the whole evening was an enormous respite for us. Thank you for sharing this lovely place in which you have invested so much. ”

“The cabin was adorable and the perfect size for me, my husband, his brother and his brother's wife. The location was close to town, but felt like you were in the woods. We spent alot of time on the front porch watching for wildlife. ”

“Four generations of my family came to Old Forge for a weekend in September. Two groups camped at the Old Forge Camping resort and two stayed at the Thendara House. Everything was as described. We had a great front porch to sit on and there was a fire pit in the back yard. Our host was fantastic! She was always available to answer any questions that we had. The locations was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this house!”
