“Great cozy cabin off the beaten trail. Beautiful creek nearby by. 10/10”

“We stayed here with family for Memorial Day weekend and were very impressed and looking forward to staying again in the future! The owners were very easy to communicate with. The house was extremely clean and accomodating! The owners thought of everything for their guests. We comfortably slept 11. The house was much bigger and very roomy than anticipated. The view of the lake was something one could get used to! The lake sat right across the street or a very short walk/drive to the beach.……

“Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used……

“This cabin is absolutely adorable! We really enjoyed connecting with nature - there's several large state parks and trails nearby. We also are incredibly grateful we were able to take our dogs. Being able to bring our dogs with us is a make or break on a vacation like this. We wanted to be able to hike with them, let them run and explore! Peggy was able to accomodate our pups, and we did our absolute best to abide by her house rules while we were there. A note to owners with bigger dogs, our……

“We had a great stay. Everything was as described and communication with the Owner was great too. We did receive some automated emails from a previous property manager that was no longer in effect so that was a bit confusing, but did not detract from our experience at all. We stayed in February and went to Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day which was a lot of fun. The cabin sits on a beautiful property - it would be fantastic in the warmer months.
