“We enjoyed a lovely weeks stay at Nomads Court Lodge. The ratings would have been excellent but the lodge was having some issues with the pool. This was being addressed and should now be working properly. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, great wifi, great view from balcony - what more could you ask for.”

The location at 5 minutes from the main road allows for a quiet ambiance combined with the perks of being close to the road. Only 20 minutes from the airport, Wild Dogs is a great place to chill and hang out upon arrival in Zambia. Staff is really kind and very helpful ”

“The rooms and bathrooms were very dirty, water was cold and had no preasure, rooms were not cleaned daily. Breakfast was poor. Sub standard and I broke 1water glass and they changed me K100 a total rip off if you ask me. ”

“The place was awful. The shower only dripped water. Weak WiFi. An air conditioner that could only be turned on manually, remote to stop the air from blowing on you didn’t work. The electronic key didn’t work and breakfast was lame. The worst part was the main guy said he would refund my money for two nights (I left after one night and planned for 3) and he never did. He lied to me. ”

“The single worst hotel experience of my time in Africa: I asked the hotel if I was settled with my bill when I was checking out. They said yes: I needed to pay with credit card since I have no local currency. Almost half an hour after dropping me off at the airport, the driver showed up & refused to let me go through security: he didn't have any paperwork, balance or a credit card machine & started harassing me loudly and embarrassingly all around the airport for a balance for the shuttle. “I booked my stay when i arrived in Lusaka late at night. When i got to Acamms the receptionist was refused for me to stay there although i had a receipt from Expedia from my email. Long story short i had to find an alternative hotel in the middle of the night in Lusaka. I contacted Expedia on the 13th about getting a refund and up to now they are still getting in touch with Acamms. So bad service from both Acamms and Expedia. Book at your own risk.”

“There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). “10月1号晚上快12点了才到卢萨卡，按着酒店订单上的酒店地址找了两个小时都没找到该酒店，联系电话也一直打不通，最后找了辆当地的车付钱让司机给我们当向导才找到，入住已经零晨两点半了，前台还一直强调我们订的大床房只能有一个免费早餐，另一个人要付费！！！！酒店外面看着还可以，内部很陈旧，厕所比较脏，厕所垃圾桶里还有两个空的饮料瓶，一看就是上位房客扔的酒店竟然没打扫！！非常不愉快的经历”

“The concept of cube-like lodges is great. Staff is very professional and nice. The way Lusaka's infrastructure is, places are not too far away, but not at walking distance either. It is best to hire a driver, which is very affordable, and people are friendly and attentive to your needs. For check-out, the Cubes accommodated a 12pm versus 10am request, which was a plus for me. ”
