“The single worst hotel experience of my time in Africa: I asked the hotel if I was settled with my bill when I was checking out. They said yes: I needed to pay with credit card since I have no local currency. Almost half an hour after dropping me off at the airport, the driver showed up & refused to let me go through security: he didn't have any paperwork, balance or a credit card machine & started harassing me loudly and embarrassingly all around the airport for a balance for the shuttle. “I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 4 years or so. It is a pity that Hotels.com has not always offered rooms, instead I have had to book through a competitor. It is very convenient, very close to East Park shopping mall. The hotel itself offers reasonable value with a guarded car park, though maintenance of the rooms need to be improved.”

“The concept of cube-like lodges is great. Staff is very professional and nice. The way Lusaka's infrastructure is, places are not too far away, but not at walking distance either. It is best to hire a driver, which is very affordable, and people are friendly and attentive to your needs. For check-out, the Cubes accommodated a 12pm versus 10am request, which was a plus for me. ”
