“Nice and quiet place. Good value for money - as compared to much more expensive hotels in town. Friendly and helpful staff. Example: I was asked if I wanted my rental car washed, but I didn't feel that I needed that, so I said "no, thank you". A short time after the staff member was busy washing my car, and of course I paid him a few Kwacha. The morning I was about to leave, he again was washing my car (which didn't look dirty at all). “I've stayed twice now at The Prince Charles Hotel. It is a really nice new clean building, with comfortable beds. But it's in an odd location far from almost everything (it was close to a residence I was visiting). But it's so quirky- some rooms have no external windows. There are usually no hangers in the wardrobe, or available at reception. In your room you can hear everything echoing in the hallway.
