“Peggy and Gary are wonderful hosts at the beautiful Riverside Lodge Bed and Breakfast which is sandwiched between the Honga River and Chesapeake Bay. We enjoyed the quiet serenity and watching the water fowl and eagles flying nearby. Peggy cooked us a hearty breakfast each morning and also a delicious dinner for our anniversary. “Soul enriching location. The dock, the fresh eggs, the local GBH, and night sky all contribute. Quick access to Blackwater NWR. The furnishings and kitchen accessories are adequate. The microwave door no longer closes correctly and has to be pushed until the fan stops. None of that matters because of the location. ”

“I recently stayed at this property and had a wonderful experience. Trey was a terrific host. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to St. Mary’s College. The water view and sunsets were amazing. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable and the host did a great job of stocking the house with everything we needed.
