“We were pleasantly surprised to find a well stocked kitchen with a refrigerator and gas stove. The only thing we missed was a tea kettle to heat up water for tea, and there was no saucepan. We made due with the stock pot supplied. It was clean and comfortable. We appreciated being able to bring our dog. The grounds were pet friendly and relaxing. ”

“Lovely cabin- felt like we were up in the mountains. Plenty of private space and wooded area for the dog to run around. The host was great at communicating and answering any questions. The only thing to be aware of is the long two-track driveway that can be a little tricky in wet or snowy conditions. I would highly recommend and stay again! ”

“We had a great stay at this property. It was just what we were looking for - far enough away from everything, yet still close enough for activities and things to do with short drives. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and supplies to cook. We loved the water pressure in the shower! Laundry facilities were convenient. Mattress is new-ish and high quality. We fell in love with the Manistee area and are already planning a return visit this region in the future. ”
