“Sogar die Lage der Hütte ist besonders, wer das erste Mal dorthin fährt, wird sich wundern wohin das Navi einen führt, wenn man aber ankommt ist es den Weg wert. Auf dem Parkplatz befindet sich direkt ein Brunnen, durch das wunderbar frisches und schmackhaftes Bergquellwasser läuft. Direkt daneben sieht man die traumhafte Aussicht ins Tal und den Sarner See. Durch die hohe Lage ist man ziemlich abgeschieden und kann die Zeit in Ruhe genießen, einzig die Kühe und Schafe der nahe gelegenen Weiden……

“A great spot for family, especially kids old enough to climb down the ladder and into the lake. A great back yard and family house. Only issue is the Glatz umbrella that is in need of replacement. The local contact was very responsive and helpful. We lost hot water and they reacted and fixed it immediately. ”

“Our family of 5 (aged 18+) had a wonderful stay in Chalet Esther, Brienz. The weather was perfect while we were there, so we spent most of our time exploring the whole area. But, we always came home for dinner together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (no microwave), and grocery stores were easy to get to. We are a tall family, so be aware that anyone 6 feet tall or more will be at risk of hitting their head often. We lovingly referred to Chalet Esther as our dollhouse as low……

“Our stay at this house was like a dream! The idyllic setting was perfect - in the valley amongst the mountains, cow bells ringing quietly in the evening, stunning views. The house was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to questions. Definitely needed a car. We would absolutely stay there again in the future!”
