“On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:……

Located on a ridge off of the backroad from Lake Willoughby to Barton, the cabin has all of the amenities you need for a summer or winter vacation in NEK (Vermont's Northeast Kingdom). The wonderful front room combines kitchen, dining room, and living room with 180 degree windows that offer views of fields and forests and mountains, with an ample deck……

“This comfortable home was great for our getaway. Communication was easy and clear. We were offered early check in and late departure and that was so kind and appreciated. The steps had been salted for our arrival as it had been a little icy and they could be slippery. Thank you for ensuring that was done even tho it was late March. We did not get to bring our dog, but if we'd been able to, she would have been welcome which was so sweet. And there were no odors or sign of other's pets from……

The cottage is cozy and has everything you need, including fast internet. The hosts are communicative and responsive. Highly recommend!”

“Beautiful, well-appointed multi-level home. Great views of near and distant mountains. Very comfortable beds. TVs in every room. Large decks on two levels and side decks. We were there to see the ice go out in late mid-April. Plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, games, air hockey, etc. Very quiet and great for star gazing on a clear night. ”
