Extremely clean, organized, woodsy decor, comfortable pillows/bed, great shower head / tub space, no WiFi connectivity issues, great tv swivel set up for movie on the couch, spacious mini fridge, beautiful outside area - to sit, fire pit, serene area off the beaten path, loved the bug net magnetic door thing at the entrance (very smart!) I would 10/10 highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the nearby Stowe area.”

“We’ve coming to this property for three years. It’s always been a fun experience. The property management has improved dramatically—I give it a 10/10. Not for the faint of heart. This tucked away cabin is surrounded by nature, with the night spookiness of creaking floors, pitch black outdoors. It’s almost impossible to sleep with the deep silence and nature sounds at night, including bears. It’s a good stay for a bigger family.”

“Renter beware. This is a transformed shed. The loft with a mattress is a box storage area. Not for people of size or age. The second bed is a small futon. River is not accessible because of erosion and broken glass. The river at this spot is not a place to swim because of debris building materials and car parts . The river view is spectacular and bird watching was good. A few other things but the owner said he would address those issues. Then weather was great! ”

“The house was just as described, very cozy and old school. Nice amenities by the owners. The only semi-complaint was how far out it was in relation to our friends we were visiting. Lots of dirt roads - picturesque but not speedy to get anywhere. ”

“It was quiet, charming in a rustic way, Very clean, and with lots of attention from Kris, the on-site property manager. We were right on Lake Willoughby and it was absolutely gorgeous. There's not a lot to do in the area in the fall / winter, but we wanted just to go and relax, and we did that! It was perfect for us. We stayed in cabin number one, the original log cabin, and as one might expect it had a bit of a draft - but fresh air is a good thing when it's offset by a good heating system! The……
