“We loved the location of this property and that it was very clean and very homely. It is situated along Cayuga lake and is directly on the lake. Can easily hold 10 people; has two full baths upstairs and a powder room on the ground floor. Gas grill outside. This property is about 30 mins from Auburn, 12 mins from Downtown Senaca Falls, and close to wineries, Muranda Cheese Company (for Cheese tastings), Sauders Store (Amish Food Market/Grocery), etc.It is approx 23 mins from Taughannock Falls……

“Overall this is a great house on the lake! The parking situation is a bit of a headache if you have you have more then 2 cars. The auxiliary parking at deans cove state park is confusing. It clearly states no overnight parking there, even though this is the direction from the owners. One of our cars received a warning ticket on the last night of our stay. Also make sure to bring cleaning supplies. Specifically trash bags and dish soap. We quickly ran out of the small amount that were left……

“Loved our stay at this Cottage. It had absolutely everything you could need for a relaxing time. Even in cooler temperatures, we had plenty to do. Heaters worked great in the sunroom to be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the lake while staying warm. We will definitely be back to utilize this lovely home again. ”

“Very nice accommodations with only two minor issues: The bathrooms don't have enough towel racks so we had to hang our towels on coat hangers and the wireless Internet was spotty. We had difficulties with our computers and watching TV because of frequent buffering on days when the weather wasn't near perfect. The view would have been great without the utility building across the street but that couldn't be helped. We would definitely stay here again but we'd bring a drying rack for our……

“The interior of the house is very nice although it is not stocked as well as other house we have rented. It would have been nice to have more towels and blankets. The 3 car limit for parking was stressful as we had family members that came and went during our stay. The state park nearby is lovely with a military museum, mini golf, beach and playground. The sunset views were spectacular.”
