“We had a great stay the view is amazing and beds were comfy and we enjoyed time in the back living room. I would say appeal the landscaping seemed to not be done that took away but not a big think. Also there was slight smell of pets but once we light the candles it wasn’t an issue after the first few hours. We really had a great time and Steve was very responsive which was amazing. ”

“We had a blast. The grandkids enjoyed fishing off the docks, and kayaking in the bay. We visited the beaches at Fairhaven, Sodus Point and Port Bay. We loved the sunsets while having dinner around the firepit”

“Our family had a wonderful stay at this property! It is as described. The weather was too cold and rainy for us to use the kayaks, but we surely will next time. We had stayed on Seneca and Keuka Lakes in the past, and I'm glad we tried Owasco this time. Auburn, a good-sized town with lots of amenities, was a a very short drive. ”

“The place was great! Enjoyed fishing from the dock (caught a Bullhead, small mouth, and Rudd) and bopping around local breweries/wineries then coming back to watch the sunset with a glass of something. Host was great and check out was easy. ”

“What a great spot! We really enjoyed breakfast on the enclosed porch, sitting on the beach, watching birds go by and generally relaxing. It did take us a little time to figure out the HVAC, but once we had it dialed in we were good. Excellently stocked kitchen with all of the pots and pans you could need. No basics (salt, pepper, oil, etc) so we bought our own, which was not a big deal. Only challenge was the nice-looking knives were not at all useful. If those could get updated I'm sure others……

“The owner is amazing with great communication. The place has an inviting cottage feel with a beautiful view of the lake. It is not difficult to walk down to the dock where we saw carp.. It had everything we needed. I loved that our dog was welcome to join us.”

“Location of the house was great and house is lovely Supper clean! The steps going to lower levell inside the house were treacherous and the mattress needs replacing.. very damp downstairs as well. Slept on couch in living room on my own sheets. Liked the downstairs bathroom and space for changing.. wish they had left life best and paddles for kayak. ”

“Large, clean home with a beautiful view of Cayuga. Lots of room for our extended family and a short drive from the Inns of Aurora where we attended a wedding. Large property with lakeside grill and fire pit. Nicely appointed kitchen and very comfortable beds. Would stay there again!”

“We used this cottage as a home base for lots of hiking in the area. We enjoyed kayaking in the bay. We used the fire pit two nights and had s'mores. A rustic retreat.”
