“I personally would like thinner pillows. There was a sign in the dining area about using the pancake machine but I didn't see a pancake machine. Just minor quibbles. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our early arrival especially. We would be happy to stay there again.”

“We were in the area for a celebration of life, and didn’t want to drive back home, found this hidden gem. Quiet area, clean room, bed was soft, but still comfy. Kind of a throw back feel to the room. Perfect for a quick overnight stay and reasonably priced ”

“Worked well for our group (2 bros, 2 wives, sis) and excellent for parents with 3-4 kids but some multi-couples may not like due to sleeping arrangements. Queen master bath is very nice but only other option for cpls is a dbl bed (6 inches off floor) as part of a triple bunk (other 2 beds are singles) in the 2nd bedroom and a twin pullout in living room. Note - the bunks have 400# - 200# - 200# weight limts. Also, the 2nd br has no dresser, nitestands or even a luggage rack, so, everything……

“This was a trip back in time where we felt like we were staying in my grandparents farm house. Beautiful oak stairs, entry ways, etc. updated roomy kitchen with everything we needed. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms were updated, beautiful and everything worked great for being a old home. They updated everything wonderfully without compromising the old home feel. We LOVED staying there and spending time with family while being in iowa for my Mother’s funeral. We recommend it……

“We enjoyed this stay immensely! What a beautiful home, location, and parking! It had a BBQ and we enjoyed a nice dinner outside. The home was that old farm feeling with all the oak wood and feeling of comfort and family gathering spots. I was so thankful for the ability to be able to book at the last minute. This was such a blessing as the previous rental did not work out. The window unit ac’s were sufficient and comfortable at night and during the day. We cooked and baked and the temp was……
