“Very clean. Valley Alley arcade is fun for the family. Lots of food options on site including one economical "market" for all meals. Great host for the conference we were part of. Room for improvement: check-in was brutally slow at 2am. Servers around the pool are almost difficult to track down. ”

“My recent stay at this hotel was a good experience overall. The location is excellent as it is right on the beach, with beautiful views and easy access to the ocean. The amenities, including the pools, spa, and well-maintained grounds, were a nice touch and made for a relaxing stay. The hotel staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made a positive difference during the trip. “Loved everything about it, everyone at the front desk was very nice except one young guy that was fairly rude. Didnt catch his name tho but short curly hair. Also i wasn't aware of the $350 resort fee so when checking out i was not expecting that. Everything else was amazing!”

“Staff very nice. Clean rooms. Nice linens. Tasty food options throughout the day. Lovely music in the evenings. Great snorkeling a short walk away. Site adjacent to public beach. Pretty pricey at $1K /night (without breakfast). Unfortunately none-resort residents walk the resort, use the resort's bathroom & outdoor shower facilities and pool. Ironically on my last day, one of the staff asked me for my room number when I asked for a towel by the pool- not their practice to ask, it was his way……

“The pros are the hotel has great facilities for families, they have some really good slides for the kids, an arcade room, a Starbucks nearby and also car rental. There are two restaurants onsite and a few others within proximity. I also like the lobby area where they have a couple of tree swings, chess and some activities for the kids. “First I can not say enough about the staff at Kohea Kai. They really made us feel welcomed from when we first stepped onto the property. Nestled right across the street from the beach and minutes drive down to Safeway and Foodland, this was the perfect location for us on our trip in Maui. It was also 8 mins from our first surfing lessons. The room was big, comfortable with a nice kitchen. While it did show some signs of age, it was lovely and homey and our kids loved it. “This condo was just as described. The location is perfect. It was well equipped and very quiet. The water views were beautiful. Saw lots of whales from the condo. The pool was very nice. We just wished there was some shade/ umbrellas there. If you book this, you won't be disappointed. We were there January 31-February 12th.”
