“Excellent room, fantastic host who was very accommodating and delightful personality, just wasn't clear on the website how the location was deep in a village which was difficult to access, poorly marked, and therefore feeling unsafe. After we were settled, we felt fine, just getting to and from the property was uncomfortable.”
“Lovely place! I would stay there again.
For travelers who are religious Jews: the place is pretty Shabbat-worthy--hard key on a carabiener, but be sure to set the clock on the microwave before Shabbat b/c otherwise no clocks in the room. Also no challah to be had in the Old City where this is though I assume in the new city (a drive or cab ride away) you could get it.”
“Oh boy, what to say? The owner is very, very nice, and the place is right at the seafront, close to nice restaurants and the main sights in the city (it's a tiny city, though). However, it was very difficult to find, since it doesn't have a sign (is it a legal hospitality accommodation?), the public spaces are filthy and the private rooms, though reasonably clean, worn and in desperate need of renovation. For the adventurous traveller only. ”
“Location was great, close to the heart of the old town. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Balcony looking on to the old city wall was nice. However, the bed had no top sheet - just a bottom sheet and a blanket. We tried to get a sheet of one of the bunk beds, but it was dirty and smelly. Staff provided a top sheet when asked and we fitted it ourselves.
There were no tea or coffee making facilities anywhere. The TV had no channels at all, so was purely for decoration.”
“This is a beautifully and tastefully restored vintage property. The hosts are welcoming and multilingual. I highly recommend it.
My only minor complaint was that I found it impossible to turn off the air conditioning at night - I don't like to sleep with AC. My solution was to pull out the room card from the power control and turn off the electricity for the room, but that meant we couldn't charge our phones. But that's minor, and I'm sure that if we'd said something the management would have……
“It is a case of you get what you paid for. The breakfast was lousy. The shower was terrible and flooded the bathroom. The room was very clean and spacious for two people. The balcony was big and a great surprise. It did not feel like a hostel but more like a hotel.. The staff were very friendly. The air conditioning turned off when we left the room, not a major issue. Overall if you are on a limited budget it is worth looking into this place. It was in a great location.”
“It’s fine to stay there. Overall is good.
The private beach was good.
The hair dryer was not provided.
And there is no desk in the rooms so not so easy to use laptops.
The bed and shower room are good,
But there was a thunder storm coming and the electricity was down for hours.
The breakfast is ok. ”
“This hotel has it all the to become a great hotel, however due to poor maintanence and cleaning condition i would not recommend this hotel.
we are still trying to sort a double payment we were charged ordering an extra breakfast. we paid cash and yet after we left the hotel charge our credit card, without asking us, or trying to contact us. when we contact them to check why they charged again the reception manager claimed we never paid the extra breakfast though we are holding an invoice for……
“We enjoyed our time there. Beaches right across the street with entertainment along with a nice walk along the beach side.
Everyone was very quaint very comfortable. We will return once again!”
“The hotel was located in a very convenient area.
The hotel was very clean, and the service was better than I have received in any hotel for years …
The type of a hotel that I will definitely visit again‼️🇮🇱”
“This is a brand new hotel which is very well located, spotlessly clean. Everything is of good quality and a lot of attention has been put into detail.
The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome.”
