“We were only here for one night and the weather was too chilly to take a dip in the pool. Parking was close to the guest house/pool. Nicely decorated but it’s small. Fortunately lots of outdoor space! Bed was very comfortable. Nice towels and many toiletries provided. Perfect location if you are looking to tour the Redwoods. Two things that kept me from giving 5 star rating were: there was old coffee(how old?) in the pot and the refrigerator is located outside of the unit and it wasn’t clean.”

“We loved our stay here and would absolutely stay again. Such an ideal location for visiting the redwoods- right next to Avenue of the Giants. Secure and gated. The cottage was more spacious in person than anticipated. Beds were very comfortable. We wish we could have stayed long enough to take advantage of the great outdoor spaces. “Our mountain getaway was a mixed bag of breathtaking views and a few minor inconveniences. The drive up to the VRBO was absolutely stunning, with winding roads showcasing the beauty of the surrounding mountains. However, I'd strongly recommend arriving before dark, as navigating those roads at night could be a bit daunting.The house itself was truly stunning – spacious, beautifully designed, and perfect for a relaxing retreat. “We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain hill home. So clean and comfortable. It was equipped with the necessary high speed wi-fy as well as 2 smart tvs. We did have a couple of issues that were quickly resolved by the owner and property manager as communication with them was excellent. The mountain and valley views from the front porch was magnificent. This was our second stay at this home and will definitely request it again in the future trips!”

“Luxury lake suite with golf and hot tub is exactly as described, in excellent condition, very clean, and beautifully appointed. The hosts have thought of everything, board games, picnic gear and separate towels for the lake or hot tub. Views are spectacular you can sit outside on the patio and watch the wild turkeys and geese. Hosts are quick to respond to any questions that you may have. Closest towns is 30 minutes away Willits or Covelo, so you should bring your food in with you. The roads can……

“This home is a gem in Southern Humboldt. Just steps from the historic Benbow golf course. My kids loved the pool, it’s big and deep. Easy access right off Hwy 101, near the town of Garberville with good grocery stores. Close to Redwood groves and swimming holes on the Eel River. Comfortable beds and amazing views.”
