“I had a great stay. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and I love that the beach is only accessible by people renting or living in the neighborhood. I was looking for a quiet getaway and I got just that. The bed was great as was the AC. Communication with owners was fantastic. I will be going back. “The Freeboard Studio in Old Lyme was the perfect, vacation spot for me and my husband. The host truly thought of everything when renovating this space. There are basic appliances, linens, towels, cute coffee bar at the kitchenette and a pack-n-play should you need one. “Upon our arrival we were given a numerical code to get into the rental. It did not work! We tried a number of times as to no avail! There was a couple that told us this has happened to them and showed us a back entrance jacked open by a brick! That’s how we got in! Secondly , we had a difficult time with the a/c. “The location is perfect, just a few houses from the beach. The unit has a great view, very clean and new. The owners/managers were very prompt and communicative. “You don't need to bring a thing. The host Saleste Buckley is terrific. We lived her welcome basket that included fresh eggs. I usually bring a good knife and things to wrap left overs. All good here. The bed was comfortable. Nice Linens were appreciated., Outside patio was enjoyed. Location was what we wanted. Hate to say lots more or it will not available for my next stay. LOL ”
