“The property was well situated at the top of the hill away from most of the camping locations. Having the finished basement with game room and movie room was spectacular especially with the storms that came through. It is conveniently located between the Ark and the Creation Museum. ”

“This home was clean, well-decorated, and uncluttered. It is the perfect distance for those looking to go to the ARK and also into Cincinnati during their visit. There is a good bit of traffic on the road in front of the house, so cars and trains can be heard from the front bedrooms. However, we used a sound machine app to help minimize the noise at night. It was also very nice to have a usable garage for parking! ”

“I was a little surprised it was a duplex, but it was quiet and pretty, and had obviously recently been redone just for renting out like this, nobody lives there. It's extremely close to the Ark Encounter, and the little Main St businesses nearby were nice to visit as well. There was coffee, but no cream or sugar. Cooking utensils, but no grilling utensils. Only a couple seasonings, nothing in the fridge like condiments etc. So plan ahead with food! My kids loved that there were TVs in both……

“Window blinds difficult to use. I am 84 and had o stand on a chair. My daughter is 5ft 7in and it was hard to hook them up, A handbar in the walk-in shower would have been nice, I was in 107 and the walkway to the porch was risky; steps very steep and no handrails, Great amenities, soap, lotion and shampoo ,kitchen wonderful, water pressure great A great place for vacation ”

“Amazing place! Very clean! Very well maintained! Awesome owners who respond quickly and are very sweet and friendly! The place is very roomy! Quiet and nice and very homey feeling! If you want to stay somewhere and feel at home i highly recommend this place!!!! I could of just stayed in the apartment the whole time and been thrilled! Definitely will be staying here again! Worked perfect for 4 adults and still could of fit another couple in with plenty of room! Would be perfect for a family……

“Walking into the Southgate House was a great moment. The interior is done beautifully...it was so cool. The kitchen is great, downstairs bedrooms were comfortable, master bath is really unique, and the living area is spacious and well apportioned. But our favorite gathering spot was the rooftop.
