“Things we loved: the view was phenomenal! Loved our morning coffee and evening wine on the balcony. Good use of space. Comfy bed and lots of hot water and pressure in the shower. “The room was very small, enough for a queen bed a narrow walk space on two sides and a counter/sink and dorm fridge. No chairs or table inside. Used AC unit fan at night since ceiling fan was noisy. Nice deck with picnic table but ability to use it was limited as it was often wet from daily rains. The outdoor shower and toilet was a different experience We thought It was closer to sharks cove than it was(thought we could walk there). Nice neighborhood but the road up to it was narrow and windy……

“This good-sized studio was clean and well maintained. It is short walk to the beach and Ted’s bakery making it convenient if the traffic keeps you local. I had one small issue and let Mike know. He had it fixed right away. I would stay there again!”

“Our checking was simple and directions for the cottage were straightforward. The pictures online didn’t do justice as once we arrived it was a beautiful location up in the Maratha Valley and surrounded by mountains and several near by beaches. It was an awesome place with plenty of room for us and amenities provided were great. The only problem was the motion security lights didn’t work very well and hope the problem gets fixed as it was very dark at night . Overall our stay was great ! ”

“The studio was clean, spacious & nice. However, the host advises "just steps from the ocean." Totally false! To get across to the ocean, you have to cross an extremely active highway. Furthermore, there are several homeless camps you also have to pass. To enter or exit the property, you have to get out of your vehicle and unlock the iron gates that are secured with a bicycle lock. “This is the most well-supplied vacation rental we've ever stayed in. It has everything you need to spend the day (games, TV, great WiFi) at home or for a day at the beach with kids (beach chairs, towels, sand toys). “Such a great place to stay. Far away from town which is great. We wanted somewhere private and quiet. Oahu was small enough we get to drive everywhere, everyday. The private beach was a huge plus.
