“Hotel authentique avec un excellent acceuil, personnel a l ecoute. Tres bien positionne et pour se deconnecter de la ville.”

“Property was extremely quiet and everyone very friendly. Breakfast is very basic but good. There is an restaurant on site with amazing food (not part of the hotel). We were about 10-15 min from Peniche beaches and Fort. Woke up with birds singing, worth the stay. We were here for 2 nights only. ”

“The owner (Francisco) was so nice and accommodating. All the power went out in Portugal for 10 hours so we could not go out for dinner or buy supplies. He and his family provided dinner and wine for all the guests. What a great stay. Their house is beautiful and has been in the family for 100 years. I would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it. Don’t stay anywhere else but here! BTW the castle is awesome!”

“Amazing property in an amazing location. Beautiful room and bathroom. Appears to be newly renovated, all fresh and new. Outstanding breakfast very reasonably priced. The only negative is parking on premises is inadequate, but available nearby. Wonderful location at entrance of the walled city.”
