“It was unique in that it wasn’t in the place shown on the map. The local people had never heard of it. and they didn’t reply to phone calls. I didn’t stay there because I couldn’t find it! It’s not on Main st, as they claim . I doubt if I will get a refund. Annoyed. ”

“Place was good and all things acceptable. Stay was plasant with very oblidging staff. However, the location is terrible. Very difficult to find and is road, if you can call it a road, is horrible. Full of flooded potholes in complete darkness at night.”

“Ein Traumurlaub im Sunshine Pasikuda Hotel! Wir hatten einen absolut fantastischen Aufenthalt im Sunshine Pasikuda Hotel und können es gar nicht erwarten, wiederzukommen! Von Anfang bis Ende war alles einfach nur perfekt. Das Abendessen war eine absolute Gaumenfreude – frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. “Beautiful property with friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious with options for all visitors. Gym had good equipment and the pool and grounds are lovely. My only suggestion would be to have an iron in all rooms it would have been helpful with my wrinkled dresses.”

“Sunaqua is located at the wrong end of Pasikudah beach. The beach in front of the hotel is too shallow and rocky for swimming. you can walk to the public beach to swimming however the public beach is busy during weekend. Other than that, the hotel itself is pretty good. It even provides ladies sanitary items which comes very handy and this shows hotel's attention to detail. ”

“We stayed here for two nights on our journey down the east coast. The bedroom and bathroom were huge with all the amenities you'd expect, even English channels on the TV. The pool is fabulous and the location on the beach is perfect. We went half board and were satisfied with the meals. However if we were staying longer I probably would just do b&b.”

“Rooms are among the bushes in separate apartments among bushy area with beach view. It gives you a nice feeling when you walk around. The quality of food in the restaurant is very good. The Manager is very friendly and helpful. Customer service at the counter is very good. Enjoyed the high ceiling room and separate toilet and shower which gives more flexibility in using. Felt very refreshed after one night stay. Wish we should have booked at least two days. Felt as if the good time was over so……
