“We enjoyed our stay at Kay Jay Palms. The rooms were spacious and very clean. A/C and fan combo kept the rooms cool in the day and night. We had breakfast and dinners there. The portion sizes were much more than we could finish. It is 5 min drive from Pasikuda beach which was very convenient for beach days in the morning and the ability to change before other activities in the afternoon. Overall a great experience. ”

“Maison d’hôte sur la plage Il y aurait tout pour en faire un endroit merveilleux mais pour cela il faudrait accentuer les efforts sur le Menage, le matériel qui est cassé. Tout est laissé à l’abandon (matelas déchiré et tache sur les transats). Les baies vitrées n’ont pas du voir un chiffon depuis des années. La plage devant la maison est plein de détritus. La cuisine n’est pas formidable non plus ”

We had half board with fresh pastries fruit and eggs for breakfast and for dinner a 3-4 course meal- I had the fish every night which was different daily The management leave you alone and you have the manager’s phone number if you need anything urgently. “Warm, friendly staff - this hotel had a beautifully designed main building where we enjoyed al fresco eating from the varied and superbly cooked/arranged buffet. After dinner we enjoyed the ping pong and pool table which helped entertain our family. The swimming pool was sublime. The gardens, pathways and trees leading down to the beach were well kept and helped support a relaxing atmosphere. “Sunaqua is located at the wrong end of Pasikudah beach. The beach in front of the hotel is too shallow and rocky for swimming. you can walk to the public beach to swimming however the public beach is busy during weekend. Other than that, the hotel itself is pretty good. It even provides ladies sanitary items which comes very handy and this shows hotel's attention to detail. ”

“The staff was very friendly and the yoga session conducted for us in the morning is very good. The yoga instructor makes a real effort to help us learn yoga. Food was nice and the rooms were clean. Overall, it is a great place to relax and spend a weekend. I would definitely return to this hotel again. ”

“Worst”

“From the greetings on arrival to the moment of departure, the staff and owners were only too happy to assist us. If you are looking for a place to relax and hang by the pool or walk down laneways for 10 minutes to a great swimming beach, this place is just great to wind down from the usual tourist trails. “Place was good and all things acceptable. Stay was plasant with very oblidging staff. However, the location is terrible. Very difficult to find and is road, if you can call it a road, is horrible. Full of flooded potholes in complete darkness at night.”
