We just stayed two nights and if I find myself in the area again, I would absolutely return to this spot.”

“I wanted to visit Mendocino with my partner, I planned a surprise weekend getaway and I found this gem! It’s just outside of Mendocino so all the trails were only 10-15 minutes away. The property was the perfect size. It was cozy and clean and exactly what I was looking for. Ann was the sweetest! She made us feel at home, offered to use her larger kitchen for some steaks I wanted to cook the first night. There was a small fridge and freezer that was perfect for the snacks and wine we brought……

“My husband and I were celebrating 25 years together/15 year married and wanted a place that was convenient to the town on Mendocino. Not only was this rental a short walking distance to all that we desired, but it gave us the perfect respite we needed when we were done exploring the town. We ate out most meals, but could have easily made meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom tub and shower were delightful additions, as was the little balcony which looks over the town and towards the……

“My friends and I stayed for a weekend to attend another friend's wedding. The place was clean and exactly what we needed. The only downside was that the bed off of the kitchen only had a curtain between the bed and the kitchen, but that was clearly known form the description of the property in the advertisement. All in all a good place to stay with friends for a weekend.”

“Good location, bed and shower. But. There is no kitchen- only a coffee maker and toaster oven. No basic kitchen supplies (ie scissors, can opener, anything to remove food from said toaster oven, or utensils beyond plastic ones). One towel per person. Nothing to clean anything with. Including dish soap for the mugs. Or a broom to clean up any sand. Or a garbage can for the coffee grounds beyond the one in the bathroom. I told the host ahead of time i was bringing dogs- there was no hose to wash……
