While Rockport is a destination resort town, it becomes very quiet in the evening but close to Gloucester where many entertainment venues are available. ”

“We stayed at the Vista for 2 night and loved it. It was quaint, clean, and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. It had a little patio out back with views of the beach. Some of the other rooms had balconies. The had free, very basic, breakfast outside under a tent every morning. Coffee, juice, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, croissants,. It was great for us but not if you want a hearty breakfast. Downtown was about a 30-40 minute walk but they also had a taxi for $10 you could……

“Liked most everything. Sat on their private beach enjoying the great weather. Had a great meal in their restaurant. One negative: the lighting in the bathroom was too dim. Barely usable when looking in the mirror. The hall mirror had NO lighting whatsoever making it totally useless. ”

“Beautiful castle building, free coffee at the reception, staff are very friendly and helpful. They even offered me a ride to the train station when the next train was coming within half an hour. Overall it’s a very pleasant stay. ”

“Great location in historic downtown Marblehead. Check-in and checkout was easy and straight forward. Having a reserved parking spot in downtown Marblehead is a big plus as parking can sometimes be challenge. Perfect little (studio sized) space for 1 person or a couple! ”

“The apartment was bigger than we expect d on the photos. Everything is tastefully decorated. We loved the natural light and the perfect location in Marblehead. It was our first time in the Northeast and we loved the quaint atmosphere of this gem of a coastal town that was matched by this lovely little property. We thought the photos did a great job to present the property, we were absolutely not disappointed!”
