“This house is perfect for our family of four! We came here for our nephew’s wedding, and we are so glad we chose to stay at Legacy! First, it’s located within a very short distance of the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier, which is completely gorgeous inside and out! The host made sure we were set up very well for our 4 night stay! “We absolutely loved this little cabin style home! It was the perfect fit for our weekend getaway with friends. There is a really beautiful back yard, we saw deer wander through one morning, and the area was really quiet and peaceful.There are three bedrooms, each with very comfortable mattresses. “This unique place has it all: charm, class, comfort, beauty, and fun. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a gorgeous staircase leading to most of the rooms. Our room was spacious, with a luxurious bathroom. The gourmet kitchen is equipped for anything and everything with seating for eight. “We have stayed at the Elkader Jail House many times and the Harstad Suite is a great room for the 4 of us. The large kitchen and family space on the first floor provide plenty of space for everyone to get together and relax. Its nearby my family and takes the stress off anyone needing to make space for all of us to sleep. Its comfortable, clean and an easy to walk downtown. We'll be back soon!”
