“Great scenic location on Lake Pontchartrain, Slidell was a pleasant surprise to us out of towners, would have considered spending more time in town of we didn’t have such a packed weekend. Not too bad of a drive into New Orleans, but if using ride/share car service just know to look ahead at pricing and budget accordingly.Very spacious, great kitchen amenities and a nice pool. Sleeps 22 but do take note there are 12 beds. Bring your own soap to shower but over all very nice place and good……

“What can I say but WOW!! From the minute I opened the door and looked inside this charming house I knew I made the right decision. This house is loaded to the max with anything you would need for your stay. It is so beautifully decorated and in a great neighborhood. Had no problem with neighbors or excessive noise. If we are we’ve in the area again we would definitely choose to stay here! Ponchatoula is a great little town with charming shops, nice antique stores and cutting edge places to……

“We loved our stay in this cozy little cabin! It was exactly as described, clean, and full of charm. The owner was kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The elevated porch was the perfect spot to relax, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true getaway. We’d happily stay here again!”

“This property was very nice and accommodating. Our host did a great job of communicating and staying in touch with us. The only small problem (which ended up not being a problem at all for us), is that the property is ONLY accessible by boat. They do provide a small barge for you to burrow and they offer a “boat taxi” service. Overall the experience was great, just be prepared for a tiny boat ride across the canal.”
